Ever wonder what might happen if a pot dispensary went "web 2.0" and started using twitter to connect with customers and announce its current offerings? Well wonder no more.
KPCC's Off Ramp radio program recently interviewed Dann Halem, director of the non-profit 'Artists Collective' dispensary. The collective's avowed goal/business plan is to sell enough weed to give away ten-thousand dollar grants to artists! Halem and co. have been using Twitter to great effect lately.
A few sample tweets:
While on a delivery, 4 police motorcyles close in with lights flashing. "Uh oh," I think. Then I see a film crew behind. That's Hollywood!Just in for Artists Collective members: Purple Nepal and Hog's Breath. Two of the nicest choices we've seen this summer. Supply is limited.
